We will be presenting two sessions at the 2018 AASA National Conference on Education, February 14-17 in Nashville, TN, including:  

Using a Profile of a Graduate to Become a 21st Century District

Wednesday, February 14, 1-5 p.m.

During this interactive, preconference workshop, superintendents and their teams will come together to begin to develop:

  • A Portrait of a Graduate for their district;
  • A community engagement strategy for their newly created Portrait of a Graduate; and
  • A vision roadmap for implementation, including key shifts in curriculum and instruction, professional development, and assessment.

 

Defining Your District’s Profile of a Graduate

What are the key competencies that make up a successful student in your district? In this session, participants will come away with tools to help engage  their communities to develop and implement a Profile of a 21st Century Graduate. Explore how to use the Profile of a Graduate as a north star to support district transformation, including strategic planning, curriculum & instruction, as well as assessment and professional development.
